Dr Marcells takes the time to perform a thorough consultation and tailors natural-looking and well-proportioned results to the individual.

Dr Marcells is regularly invited to share his knowledge and give talks to other specialists on Facial Plastic Surgery and Rhinoplasty at cosmetic medical and surgical conferences both nationally and overseas.

He often presents at meetings of the Australasian Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (AAFPS), Australian Society of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (ASOHNS), Australia and New Zealand Rhinology Society (ANZRS), Cosmetic Physician College of Australia (CPCA) and recently at the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS).

Dr Marcells has presented at major international meetings in New York, Chicago, Orlando, Toronto, Montreal , Paris, Versailles, Auckland, Queenstown, Kuala Lumpur, Seoul, Singapore and Macau.

Doctors from Australia and overseas also regularly visit Dr Marcells to observe his surgical techniques.

Dr Marcells is a co-director of the Sydney Rhinology Fellowship, which trains selected outstanding candidates from all over the world in advanced nasal surgery procedures. This Fellowship runs as part of the American Rhinology “Match” Program.

Dr Marcells is a co-convenor of the annual St Vincent’s Hospital Structured Rhinoplasty Workshop in Sydney, which teaches advanced Rhinoplasty surgery techniques to specialist ENT and Plastic Surgeons.

Dr Marcells has been a Visiting Medical Officer at Sydney Hospital for 20 years and is currently also appointed to Prince of Wales Hospital, Randwick.

He has an active role in the teaching of medical students, registrars and general practitioners as well as other specialists and surgeons.
Dr Marcells is a past supervisor of surgical training for the ENT registrar at Sydney Hospital and teaches in the NSW ENT registrar lecture programme.

Having been a trainer for Allergan, Dr Marcells teaches and demonstrates advanced injection techniques to other cosmetic medical practitioners for both wrinkle treatment and volumising treatments with dermal fillers.

As well as consulting with him for surgery, many people choose Dr Marcells to provide their regular non-surgical beauty treatments targeting wrinkles and skin volume.
